Catalina Robayo was crowned Miss Colombia 2010 on November 15, 2010 in Cartagena. María Catalina Robayo Vargas represented Columbia in Miss Universe 2011. Catalian was born in Palmira, Valle del Cauca, she is a student of law at Pontifical Xavierian University in Cali.
At Miss Universe 2011 contest, Robayo became the center of controversy after Brazilian newspaper Agora published photos of Miss Colombia exposing she is not wearing panties during one of the public performances leading up to the Miss Universe 2011 election. However, she was elected into the 16 finalists of Miss Universe 2011.
